It hurts to love someone when you can’t tell them what you really feel… Cause sometimes we get hurt without them knowing… We get jealous without the right to feel that way… We want their time without the position to demand for it… Till our heart is breaking in silence... but despite of it, we continue to love because somehow in this hurtful love, there’s still the hope of having simple moments with them… even it will end up as, FRIENDS… “It’s amazing how someone can break your heart and you can still love them with all the little pieces...” Why am I afraid to lose you when you’re not even mine? “People think it’s holding on that makes you stronger, but sometimes it’s letting go…” The hardest part of loving someone is unknowing when to let go and unknowing when to say goodbye…” Should I hate you because you hurt me? Or should I love you because you made me feel special? The most painful thing is seeing the one you love… Loving somebody else…” “I wish I had the guts to walk away and forget about what we had. But, I can’t because I know you won’t come after me, and I guess that’s what hurts the most…” If I could be anyone at this moment, I’d be her so you’d love me too…” “I hate to see the one I love happy with somebody, but I surely hate it more to see the one I love unhappy with me…” “I can’t make you love me, want me, or understand me… All I can do is hope that someday you will…” “Crying doesn’t solve problems, but it’s easier than trying…” Why did I have to fall for you when you just keep falling for…...

...those we love and care about. There is a rather shocking lack of communication between people in our rapidly advancing generation. In Paul Dooley and Winnie Holzman’s play Post-Its (Notes on a Marriage), we watch as two young people who are in love and newly married, begin to leave each other post its notes when they have no time for communication with one another. The author successfully tells an amazing love story using a unique means of communication. According to Anne Maydan Nicotera, “communication is critical to inter-personal relationships” (Nicotera). The notes vary from topics such as one not wanting to wake the other as they leave early for work, for tasks that need to be completed throughout the day. The audience, through the reading of the post- its notes views the couple’s life as it goes through the early stages of a relationship, to having a child, to a downhill slide of their relationship, the steady reconstruction of a marriage, and eventually it goes on until one of the two passes on. By leaving these post-its notes, the unnamed couple manages to have a basis of communication upon which they both are able to agree upon. They manage to find a convenient and effective way to convey what they need to say to one another through post-its notes, and even though things get rough, and arguments ensue, they find their strength and return to one another. Their relationship is refound with a clean slate, and although there are occasional spats in the notes, the......

...Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always preserves”. (1 Corinthians 13:1) Love is something wonderful. Love decides everything in this world. It doesn‘t have any conditions or boundaries. We don’t know exactly what love is and where it comes from. But one thing is sure: we are nothing without love! There are times when we feel shy and timid, when we are afraid of expressing the love we feel. Being afraid of embarrassing the other person or ourselves we hesitate to say the actual words “I love you”. One can say “I love you” in many ways: by means of nice presents and little notes, smiles and sometimes tears. Sometimes we show our love when we are quiet and do not say a word, at the other times – we speak loud to express it. Sometimes we show our love by impulsiveness. Many times we have to show our love when we forgive someone. The problem with our world is that people don’t learn to listen to each other. They hear the words, but they don’t listen to the actions that accompany the words and do not mind the expression on the face. We have to listen to see love in and around us....

Love

...Caitlin Cataldi Professor Delores Zumwalt English 1302 June 22, 2013 Romance ideals Love is like an addiction to drugs. Some people crave it while others fear it. We want intimacy, but we also fear it because we are scared of commitment, being close to someone or even being alone. Within society, people seem to invest more time in finding love immediately than they do in grasping the real concept of love. In a typical college town, you would see many teenagers hanging out in groups rather than hanging out individually. Hanging out in groups allows for less attachment and just looking to have a good time with the people you know. It is less risky and has less potential to being hurt. Spending time one on one allows one to build actual feelings for one another, but “the date” could lead to something that one might regret including sexual encounters. It is more risky and has more potential to being hurt. We tend to think that the only way to be happy in life is to find a loved one and spend the rest of our lives with that significant other. Love is more varied and equally satisfying. Our view of love is inaccurate. When people are powerfully attracted to one another, they discuss having “chemistry” which only turns out to be a metaphor. When you are in love, there are a lot of chemicals reacting in your brain and body. In Love: The Chemical Reaction, Lauren Slater discusses “that certain powerful chemicals in our bodies, especially dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin,......

...the result insanity was the normalcy of the day. These rebels went from village to village in the name of the government looting, and destroying. The nation has falling from it highest post in African history and was now a bad word among its neighboring nations, as thousands of Liberians fled to those nations to seek refuge and safety. As the crisis worsen things fell apart completely the capital lost its water supply, than power, government building were burned or stripped to skeleton as we watch the few seconds clips on the Evening News. A picture of total desolation, the nation was left in complete darkness, no phones, no mail systems as letters were returned to frustrated citizens living abroad who have no means of reaching their loves one for weeks, months, and years. For more than a decade the nation went below the poverty level than any known nation on planet earth, all in the name of power and wealth. The government was not concern with the welfare of its citizen, as many were murder, and many children dying on a daily from simple curable diseases as the world washed its hand standing far off claiming the tragedy to be of domestic nature and needed not outsiders intervention, yet we have witnessed foreign intervention in other cases. May God bless those west African nations that took pride and step out when others claims it was not of their concerns, as brothers kills brothers and children carrying dangerous weapons of which they have no abilities to fully......

...charity. Colonel Sartoris invented an involved tale to the effect that Miss Emily's father had loaned money to the town, which the town, as a matter of business, preferred this way of repaying. Only a man of Colonel Sartoris' generation and thought could have invented it, and only a woman could have believed it. When the next generation, with its more modern ideas, became mayors and aldermen, this arrangement created some little dissatisfaction. On the first of the year they mailed her a tax notice. February came, and there was no reply. They wrote her a formal letter, asking her to call at the sheriff's office at her convenience. A week later the mayor wrote her himself, offering to call or to send his car for her, and received in reply a note on paper of an archaic shape, in a thin, flowing calligraphy in faded ink, to the effect that she no longer went out at all. The tax notice was also enclosed, without comment. They called a special meeting of the Board of Aldermen. A deputation waited upon her, knocked at the door through which no visitor had passed since she ceased giving china-painting lessons eight or ten years earlier. They were admitted by the old Negro into a dim hall from which a stairway mounted into still more shadow. It smelled of dust and disuse--a close, dank smell. The Negro led them into the parlor. It was furnished in heavy, leather-covered furniture. When the Negro opened the blinds of one window, they could see that the leather was cracked; and when......

...don't find it at all. Love. The stuff that poets write about in their pieces that we don't understand, only that it's sometimes tragic, and still it makes the world go 'round. For some it's the reason they live, for others, the cause of death. Could there be anything else in the world that could be as vivacious a party on full swing but at the same time lethal as a double-edged sword? Love is passing little notes that ask if you two could talk after school, just for a little while, if you're not too busy? And love is saying sorry, you have someting else to do, but deep inside the butterflies in your stomach are swarming like wasps closing in for the kill. But love is asking again and again and again and again, and everytime it feels like the butterflies are dancing to some rock and roll tune. Love is finally exchanging numbers and start learning things about each other; it's inviting that person to your hometown during the weekend and getting shocked because the invitation is actually taken seriously, and you laugh and say that was just a joke, but maybe some other time. Love is seeing each other on the hallways, on the sidewalks, in class, but not stopping even just to say hi, because you're afraid your friends might tease you. But love is sending that person a message at the end of the day, asking how it went, did it went well, and have you already had your dinner? And love is finally becoming friends, and eventually more than that. Love is whispered......

...08/26/2005 Notes for Aides Meeting How is the point system working for Kinder? For all other grade levels? Who is in the lead (I’d like to periodically announce this on morning announcements)? The Points are going great!! We came up with every week (Thursdays) letting you know who is in the lead! How are the sheets of paper going? The sheet are a keeper! We think that is great way to keep up with points. That way I can tally them right. How is the tracking chart/poster coming along? We decided not to laminate the poster board, and just decorate with all sort of treats so the kids will see it in the café. We came up with if the visual see what they will “Win” they will try harder. And the tracking I will keep up with and by you (Mrs. Reipe) announcing it they will know who is in the lead. Is there anything not working? Well its better now, the long Breakfast and lunch lines. They are running smoother now, guess it was just the first couple of weeks of school!!! How can we turn things up a notch and make things even better? (Movie on Fridays, if earned???) We thought that was a great Idea, it will keep a lot of kids at their seats and ready to sit down and eat and watch the movie!! Breakfast: What can be used to number the tables instead of taping the number? I know you came up with the little cones!!! Sounds Great! And Ms. A said she has a Cricut to make the Velcro numbers!! Is there anything that needs to be improved for breakfast? Make a definite cut,......

It is a definition and meaning that philosophers, psychologists, and biologists have been seeking since the beginning of time. Wars have been waged and fought over it, while friendships have been initiated and have ended because of this idea. But what exactly is love, and why is it important to define this enigma? In order to help define this idea of......

...attempt to dictate my response. In these kinds of situations, children very clearly understand that history matters. * When you go into a doctor’s office for the first time, you invariably have to fill out an information sheet that asks about your medical history. Some of these forms are very detailed, asking questions that require information from rarely accessed memory banks. Why does a doctor ask these questions? The doctor is trying to construct an accurate picture of your state of health. Your health is heavily influenced by the past. Your heredity, past behaviors, past experiences are all important determinants and clues to your present condition. Whenever you return to the doctor, he or she pulls out a file which contains all the notes from past visits. This file is a history of your health. Doctors understand very clearly that the past matters. * Some of you might be thinking that these examples are not very compelling because they both deal with the very recent past—they are not what we think of when we think of history. Let me give one final example that is more to the point. In 1917 the Communists took control of Russia. They began to exercise control over how the history of their country ought to be told. They depicted the tsar as oppressive and cruel. The leaders of the revolution, on the other hand, were portrayed in a very positive light. The Communist government insisted that these leaders, and in particular Lenin, understood more clearly than any one......

...talking about a lot of stupid words that I’ve not have a single idea. (saw a poster that says ‘stop fraud and forgery) Like that one. What the hell is ‘forgery’? I mean, it sounds like an out-of-this-world word. Guirly: Forgery? I think I’ve heard it somewhere. It’s like a farm where there are a lot of pigs. Christine: Stupid! That’s piggery. Forgery is a crime about making or altering any written or printed instrument. Guirly: Whatever! It’s sounds like piggery. Forgery. Piggery. See? Christine: Enough about that. You know what, Toni? Your father is right. You should start being serious. Love the business. That’s where your shopping money is coming from. I mean, without your business, you would be nothing like you are right now. Look at me, I am managing our family’s salon. At first, I also don’t like having that responsibility. But as I learned everything about it, I began to love it. And I’m enjoying the responsibility now. Toni: Really? How come you sound so great? What do you think, Guirly? Guirly: I think …there’s a SALE! Christine and Toni: Where?!? Toni: Oh my God! Let’s go! (saw a pair of shoes) Oh! It’s beautiful. Saleslady: Good afternoon, ma’am. We have a 50% discount on that item. You can try it if you want. And we also have a lot of discounts up to 60% on selected items. Christine: Really? Does that include excise tax? Saleslady: No ma’am. It doesn’t have an excise tax. That kind of tax is for specific goods only like cigarettes and alcoholic......

...A Triangular Theory of Love This article presents a triangular theory of love. According to the theory, love has three components: (a) intimacy, which encompasses the feelings of closeness, connectedness, and bondedness one experiences in loving relationships; (b) passion, which encompasses the drives that lead to romance, physical attraction, and sexual consummation; and (c) decision/commitment, which encompasses, in the short term, the decision that one loves another, and in the long term, the commitment to maintain that love. The amount of love one experiences depends on the absolute strength of these three components, and the kind of love one experiences depends on their strengths relative to each other. The three components interact with each other and with the actions that they produce and that produce them so as to form a number of different kinds of loving experiences. The triangular theory of love subsumes certain other theories and can account for a number of empirical findings in the research literature, as well as for a number of experiences with which many are familiar firsthand. It is proposed that the triangular theory provides a rather comprehensive basis for understanding many aspects of the love that underlies close relationships. What does it mean "to love" someone? Does it always mean the same thing, and if not, in what ways do loves differ from each other? Why do certain loves seem to last, whereas others disappear almost as quickly as they are......

...Chapter 1: The Death Note I stared at the teacher who was currently blabbering stuff about algebra and irrational numbers. I don't really have anything against Math, except that I have low grades in it. The only subject I'm ever good at is Physical Education. Even so, I am still beaten at it by the ever so perfect “Allen Walker”. What's with him, really? He's good at everything, even in Cooking Class. Although he can't par with me in cooking commoner's food, he always cooks exquisite viands. People adore him to the very core of Earth. He's like some Buddha in school. He's like the Super Star that never existed. Anyway, I feel that it won't be good if I fill the whole first paragraph of the first chapter with every crap about him. Let’s go to me first. My name is”Haruka Azumi Yukihara”. I am a most typical female student of Hakuo Academy. My forte is Physical Education and my Achilles' heel is just about anything except Physical Education. Yes, I know that's a lot that's why I'm not enumerating it. Today is June 13, 2011 and everything is just about how everything shouldn't be. Ah, of course it's the fault of mankind, as always. At least it's not the fault of Allen-kun. Either way, I'm stuck in this school and an addiction to Death Note. Now what is Death Note? It's a story about this cool guy who kills all criminals with a pen and a notebook. Now don't go imagining him hitting the criminals with the notebook and finishes it off by piercing the pen to the criminal's......
